Sin-Yi Chang recently completed her PhD from the University of Cambridge. Her PhD thesis looked into the growing phenomenon of EMI in Taiwan, with a focus on how EMI is changing the organization, transmission, and acquisition of knowledge in higher education contexts. Her wider research interests include language policy and bi/multilingual education. Her publications can be found in System and English Teaching & Learning. Before her PhD, she was a secondary school English language teacher at Shipai Junior Higher School in Taipei, Taiwan.
