Julieta Guzman is currently working at Na’amal. a social enterprise that links people who are forcibly displaced with remote work opportunities. One of Julieta’s many responsibilities as the Program Manager is to ensure the effective implementation of Na’amal’s training programs through the medium of English. She holds an MSc in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition from the University of Oxford, UK, as well as an MA in Democracy and Human Rights in South East Europe from the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the University of Bologna, Italy. Julieta’s research and interests lie at the intersection of human rights, education, and language, especially focusing on how their convergence contributes to refugee rights and access to education and livelihoods. She also contributes to research on language education in the International Database of Systematic Reviews, housed in the University of Oxford’s Department of Education.]my bio and picture. As I am currently working in the field of refugee livelihoods and education in emergencies, I don't have an official university affiliation, although I am involved in a research project at the University of Oxford and have my MSc from there (2020)
